Kevin Thompson
Kevin Thompson has been practicing as a Certified Public Accountant for 25 years. He started his career with Ernst and Young and BDO Seidman, two of the world’s largest CPA firms.
In 1987 he received a Certificate of Educational Achievement from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in the area of Personal Financial Planning. He owns and operates Thompson CPA, a CPA firm with an office in Torrance. Thompson CPA has a special emphasis in real estate tax matters, estate planning and trust administration.
Charles Collinge
Charles H. “Skip” Collinge is one of the four founders of TCBR, and acts as the CEO, utilizing the considerable talents of his 3 partners to accomplish the multi faceted goals of the corporation.
For the last 38 years, Skip has been a Commercial Insurance Broker and Risk Manager, insuring large companies, including many Fortune 1000 corporations.
In the 1970’s he was among the forefront in Environmental Insurance development, and in the 1980’s, he put together a nationwide insurance program for Century 21 brokers.
From 1983 to 2004, he was a partner in the insurance brokerage firm of Dodge Warren and Peters until the firm sold to USI in 2004. During that time, this 7 person firm increased to 200 people and became the 66th largest brokerage in the country. Skip initially served as the producer of the firm’s largest accounts, but also served in positions as varied as the Sales Manager, the CFO, the COO, and then eventually as the CEO of the corporation.
Joining with three long term friends and business associates made perfect sense, as his associates have wide ranging experiences that will make TCBR a very successful enterprise for the founders and their investors.
Gregory Becker
Gregory I. Becker has been a resident of the South Bay for over thirty years. After graduating from the University of California at Los Angeles he went on to receive his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
Following law school, Mr. Becker spent five years litigating disputes arising out of professional negligence. He then left the field of litigation to pursue his interests in the field of estate planning law.
Through his estate planning firm, the Law Office of Gregory I. Becker, Mr. Becker frequently works with clients’ tax accountants and financial planners in order to formulate a comprehensive plan for them.
Mr. Becker is also the President & CEO of Becker Real Estate Group, Inc., a full-service real estate brokerage established by Gregory I. Becker. In addition to representing clients in the arena of sales and acquisitions of real property, it also provides financing solutions and property management through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Professional Lending Network and Aadvisable Property Management.
John Reeve
John Reeve is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and President of John Reeve & Associates, an insurance and financial services firm located in Torrance specializing in senior services, retirement planning, life insurance and employee benefits. He began working with seniors after his family faced both the financial and psychological devastation caused by placing his mother in a nursing home due to Alzheimer’s disease. His 25 years of insurance and financial service, coupled with his dedication to protecting the assets of his clients, gives him a unique perspective on the ways to solve the problems facing seniors in our community. John, his wife, Stacie and their two children, Scott and Laura live in Manhattan Beach.
